Merdon Lodge gathered at the Sunrise Indian Curry House in Chandler’s Ford for a social evening with food, friendship and a pun that had clearly been waiting for its moment.

Many people remember the wonderfully emotive song from Fiddler on the Roof. Merdon Lodge No. 5135 gave it a more local interpretation by gathering at the Sunrise Indian Curry House in Chandler’s Ford.
With only the tiniest stretch of imagination—and possibly the assistance of a poppadum or two—we met there at sunset. Hence the link: Sunrise, Sunset.
The food was excellent, the company relaxed and the evening proved again that Masonic friendship does not always require a summons.
